Sustainable Finance Panel

History is made of turning points and we are currently living through the crux of our planet moving into the danger zone for many of our planetary boundaries. Confronted with the ecological challenge, our society is beginning to align towards solving this crisis. A conversion to corporate social responsibility has come about because financial stakeholders now recognise that companies putting sustainable issues at the heart of their business models tend to be healthier economically. Through the lens of academic and industry experts, we hope to delve deeper into the broader notions and understandings of sustainable finance, and how the future of ESG investing will look if it is to make our planet truly sustainable.

ESG Investment Workshop

To put into practice what we’ve learnt as ESG Advisors this year, we’re running a hands-on workshop on ESG Investing this summer term. Taking place on the 17th May, 6-7pm we’ll be joined by an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Cazenove Capital. The event will provide an overview of ESG, followed by an example of scoring a company (we will be looking at Rio Tinto) and finish with a Q&A. This will be an excellent opportunity for those curious about the burgeoning area of ESG/ sustainable finance to learn more.
